CAU Innovation GmbH organizes and administers two part-time, fee-based continuing education courses.

1. school management and quality development:

The single-subject Master’s degree course in School Management and Quality Development offers the opportunity to deepen and expand previous qualifications from previous professional activities. The course is offered in cooperation with the Institute for Quality Development in Schools Schleswig-Holstein (IQSH).

2. In-service teacher training (mathematics):

The single-subject Master’s degree course in Part-time Teacher Training (Mathematics) teaches didactic, subject-specific and educational science skills.

It focuses on a close integration of practical and theoretical study content.

The single-subject Master’s degree course in School Management and Quality Development offers the opportunity to deepen and expand previous qualifications from previous professional activities. The course is offered in cooperation with the Institute for Quality Development in Schools Schleswig-Holstein (IQSH). The aim is to impart sound knowledge of school management and quality development in schools based on current research, as well as the ability to apply this to known and new problems of leadership work in schools. A close interlocking of practical and theoretical study content is used here. In particular, the course is dedicated to the fundamentals of pedagogical leadership, relevant methods and results of empirical school and teaching research as well as the areas of quality management, personnel management, communication and management of organizations.

2. In-service teacher training (mathematics):

The single-subject Master’s degree course in Part-time Teacher Training (Mathematics) teaches didactic, subject-specific and educational science skills.
It focuses on a close integration of practical and theoretical study content.
The aim of the course is to qualify students in the field of in-service professionalization of mathematics teachers. In addition, with this degree they can aspire to management positions in educational administration or in educational institutions related to the in-service professionalization of mathematics teachers.
The course is offered jointly by Kiel University, the Leibniz Institute for Science and Mathematics Education (IPN), the Institute for Quality Development in Schools Schleswig-Holstein (IQSH) and the German Centre for Mathematics Teacher Education.
